Article I. IN GENERAL |
§ 14-4. Fortunetelling.
(a)
It shall be unlawful and an offense against the city for any person to carry on within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction of the city
the business of telling fortunes or carrying on the trade, business or profession of phrenology, clairvoyance, palmistry or other business of like kind or nature in which the future of any person is foretold or attempted to be foretold.
(b)
Any advertising, by any means, of a business described in subsection (a) shall be prima facie evidence of a violation of such subsection.
